Thanks Mats, Good points all around... to the release planning comment (selectively pasted below) I can at least give you good news: since the resignation of the prior release manager (who was doing an excellent job), we've had only patchwork fill-in from Uze and myself (and we've been doing just barely enough to get by as we are both extremely over-extended). However just yesterday I met with Greg Labavitch from Thug Design, and he is going to ramp up (working with me to being with) and take over the release manager function. As he becomes familiar I think it will be possible for us to keep the release planning wiki up-to-date again. Hopefully, this will de-mystify some of the version-to-version information that I know is very important to everyone.
