I have not checked lately but my family account is the same way usually.  I 
have an earlier iPhone upgrade time than the wife does even though I have 
upgraded more often and we upgraded to iPhone 4 at the same time.

Good guess as far as I am concerned.

No.  I had them 10 years ago. Lousy lousy CS.  However, the biggest reason is 
that they are CDMA and should have all the negatives the Verizon phones have 
(slow compared to fastest AT&T and their 4G, when Apple eventually gets there 
is a non-compatible with the rest of the world WiMax, and no talk and data at 
the same time).
