How long has it been? and how much space are we talking about? "Other" used to be a real issue, but it seems to not have been under iOS 11 or 12. It seems to indicate temporary storage that the system is using, and it does use quite a lot of it when you first update, but that should only be a few days. > Has anyone seen this? Any idea where to look? Not really, the "Other" category is not space that is accounts for in the rest of the OS, and you don't have any control over it. If it's been a week or so and if the space hasn't decreased and if you are having issues with downloading media or new app or whatever, then you can try to do a full wipe and restore from uCloud backup. But if you are not having any issues and just are seeing that the device appears to be be full the "Other" space is safe to ignore. You might also leave the "iPad Storage" screen i[ on your iPad for a few m minutes and see if it changes. If you're doing this in iTunes then I'd recommend that you don't. Look at the Settings => General => iPad Storage screen. (I'm reasonably sure my current iPad has never been connected to iTunes, there's no need for it and it doesn't appear to be a portion of iTunes that anyone at Apple has been king attention to) -- WINDOWS: The Gates of Hell. _______________________________________________ iPhone-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/iphone-talk
