Well, I've got scriptaculous and prototype available in my app, so I'm guessing showing a semi transparent two-fingers for half a second, maybe moving it up down once or showing an up arrow above and down arrow below, then fade them out before a second passes would be a 'gentle' reminder, not too invasive. -=R
