Its limited because of security - a good reason in my eyes. I think
they are working on 3D - but the "no interaction part" is totally
wrong. You can write very complex apps and you even have  a local db
for persistence!

The diffrent rendering is an issue but we have webstandards - things
are better than 5 years ago ;) Thats the price for openess but I'm
willing to pay it cause I dont need it!

To provide an alternative: there is a flash renderer in js, but I
havent tried it (same reasons as above) so I cant say sth about its
limitations!
