Greetings, I am using HP ProLiant systems and ipmitool-1.8.8 and want to be informed about a power off/on/reset events by mining SEL events or by receiving IPMI PET.
Does IPMI SEL logs such events? I did not see such events even after issuing several power off/on/reset commands. Does ipmitool support PEF operations to set alert destination addresses and enable BMCs to sendout PET for off/on/reset events?
