Rather strange. Do you get the same output when using the OpenIPMI interface or is it the one I included in my last mail? Does 'ipmitool sdr' work for you? I'm a bit unsure if I can trust the values 'ipmitool sdr' gives me since it doesn't work with 'ipmitool sensor'. As long as the OpenIPMI interface doesn't work completly as expected I didn't try to set up other interface types (remote ones). I met FSC guys on Cebit this year and I got a vcard with contact data for the guys that might know the most for unsupported linux installations like mine here. I never tried what happens if I use one of their supported Suse/Redhat platforms. I'm afraid that one must use their special driver packages, that of course just work with the supported platforms. In the next days I'll try to call them... But to clear things up for me: Is this a problem with the Kernel(OpenIPMI), ipmitool or the hardware itself?
