Just checking, what do you mean by "resolver" here?  If you mean
lwresd in bind9 or the resolver routine in BIND9 named, it's okay.
However, as far as I know, all released BIND9 (except the very recent
one -9.2.0a1-) do not include the "traditional" style of local
resolver library, which can be linked with other application binaries.
