I have set up a list. Send e-mail to

the text "subscribe" in the body to join.
(The name of the list is "SEND" for Secure
Neighbour Discovery.)

It is certainly an issue for ARP as well. There's a few
issues though which make the issue more relevant for us
to discuss in the IPv6 context:

- IPv6 has somewhat more control functionality (router
  discovery etc). Yes, serious enough attacks can be
  already launched with ARP, but nevertheless.

- The IETF doesn't control address resolution on different
  link technologies. We do, however, control neighbour
  discovery and ICMPv6.

- You could make the argument that let's try to fix this
  in v6 and move to using it, rather than fixing it
  in all versions of IP.
