Uselessly slow is a local decision. If that is the case for your network, then by all means, don't use these addresses. For others, speed is less of a concern than other attributes. Please stop trying to force a single operational model on everyone. We need to provide tools that meet the requirements, not keep claiming the requirements are invalid.
