I think that the business aspects of running a station are a separate issue from DX tests but equally interesting. I don't work in radio, so I hadn't though about the points Scott raised.

I'm not advocating censorship or anything like it, but a lot of broadcasters read this list. And even more folks forward messages posted here to others. Someone will forward these comments to KXEL, and I'd guess that they will take offense to them. In turn, that hurts the reputation of hobbyists... And what is the benefit? Someone gets to express their opinion about how KXEL should be running their business. Others get to agree or disagree...in the end, not one of us gets a new logging out it. And we may do harm to the hobby in the process. Me, I'm silly. I like to listen to distant radio stations. I run my own business and have my hands full doing it. The last thing I'd want is to have somebody who doesn't know my business commenting about how I should be running it.
