Actually, it's very closely related, at least if you follow my line of speculation. I want to make it very clear that I'm not speaking for Bob here, nor disclosing anything he hasn't already said in public forums...but he's made it quite clear that he intends, at some point in the fairly near future, to cash out on his investment in WYSL by selling it. Here's the speculation: what if it's cheaper for CBS to just buy Bob out completely than to fight him in court? There's the comparison I'm trying to make to the WPEP situation: both would then be cases of a community's sole local broadcast service being silenced in order to eliminate interference to another signal.
