Lets not round on Marcos just because he's the only one willing to actually respond to these questions. Its unreasonable to expect freshers and even some more impoverished second + yrs to fork out for equipment when they might drop it soon anyway. Not allowing them to enter competitions, even though it IS for their own safety; i see that, won't encourage them to enter anything but novice comps. Therefore, the Open is GOING to be SMALLER than hoped for with these restrictions, so complaining that no-one-is-entering-woe-is-the-federation is your OWN FAULT! If the Fed (as an entity. not just one person mind) complains again, LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH THESE COMPS!
