When they do you don't exactly respond in a very friendly manner (this is directed at Owen by the way). Its very like "If you are not one of us, and we don't know you, keep out!" I was responding to someone who was saying "this board is pointless", if anything that is encouraging them to contribute! I responeded in the manner I did for a reason which I have already explained in another post and see no need to repeat myself. Your just like Hitler yourself Catherine, what have I (Poland) ever done to engage you (Nazi regime) in an argument and now you plan to blitzkrieg the whole message with the same argument without answering the points I've made (sounds a lot like something Gurbels would do). See the argument can be fitted to anything ala "I woke up and it was all a dream". I've seen it used before in debates and it never goes down well. You are not comparing like with like (in any sense) so your analogy is intrinsically flawed. The reason no females from UCD didn't enter the Fed Foil is a lot to do with most of the club opting out of this surprise tournament because our weapons were shot to pieces after a particularly viscious Schull. On top of that I only gave people a months warning to get their own entry forms in themselves because I wasn't going to spoon-feed them for one tournament. Apparently this thought effected our female fencers far worse than the males. This puts me in mind of the last Federation Foil, which UCD hosted and I ran alone, where I came across a pool of eight women all standing motionless around a piste that hadn't been taped down repeatedly saying, "This piste isn't taped down". It is a true story, I'm not making any judgements.
