I meant that if UCD as a club (male and female) suddenly ceased to exist the body of fencers would be hit severly. I was merely making a point that the community of active fencers is for a majority (however small), made up of UCD, male female foil epee sabre whatever. As far as the Fed Foil II (in trinity) myself, Conor, Darius from UCD entered. All used personal gear as we had no working club foils from previous Schull weekend. No women entered because we have only a handful of female foilists, with no personal gear and most were too busy.
