I too had several issues. Agent manager died and would not come online,
same with X-Press update server, and deployment manager would not upgrade.
I figured the quick way to get back was to remove those and reinstall which
seemd to work. I did need to download and run the login update tool for
deployment manager and finally got it running. Killed a good day and a half
but I'm back in full operation.

Re: [ISSForum] Fusion problems
04/03/2006 12:49 after SP upgrade SP6

Ever since I installed SP 6, my SiteProtector has been
down. Agent Manager won't stay online and won't
update. Been on the phone for weeks with ISS and their
support is very dissappointing at this point in time.
Anyone else having SP6 issues? And how much is this
overwhelming support? I can'tget anything worked on
because the techs have no time to call me back. This
is very frustrating. And I don't think we can turn
back either. Let's hear any other problems out there!
Cheese!

Hi all,
I am running a Siteprotector 2.0 environment, which
has been upgraded to
SP6. We also use the Fusion module. After the upgrade
the Fusion module was
in no way usable. So, we decided to reinstall Fusion.
We deregistered Fusiom
from SP, deinstalled Fusion from the server, rebooted
the server, installed
the latest Fusion 2.0 downloaded from ISS and
registered it with SP. So far
so good.
Now we have the problem that Fusion doesn't work.
Every time the ISSDaemon
service is stopped/started or the server rebooted, the
event log shows
(amongst others, but this one seems to be the most
important one) the
following message:
net.iss.sma.fusion.FusionException: Error creating
connection pool
(connectString=jdbc:ids://10.2.15.21:12/conn?dsn='DRIVER={SQL
Server};SERVER=10.2.15.21;database=RealSecureDB',
userName=SecurityFusionModule_FUSION):

Source)
net.iss.sma.fusion.FusionEngine.initFromPolicyAndCommandLine(Unknown
Source)
net.iss.sma.fusion.FusionEngine.startEngine(Unknown
Source)
Does anyone have any idea what causes this and how
this can be resolved?
thank you in advance,
Richard
