Let's assume best intentions. I don't think anyone purposely ignored your
proposal, but I think you have a point here. Any additional dependency comes
with some risk of it becoming unmaintained. I would prefer an active Apache
project, although I don't know how active xbean is. This wouldn't be hard to
find out though.
