According to [the
site|http://sigmod2017.org/sigmod-call-for-industrial-track-papers/] the
industrial track has a different submission procedure. So, we may not have
missed the deadline. I have contacted the chairs, Joe Hellerstein and Mehul A
Shah, as suggested by that page.
