Jokes a part, I still haven't had a deep look at your patch, I'd like to ask
you the favor of investigating also in Apache Structs source code (it's the
OGNL main client AFAIK) and MyBatis (it strongly relies on it).
Moreover we should ask also in the commons users ML to collect more feedbacks,
not everybody monitors Jira - the main channel of info are the MLs...
