Thanks for the comment.
Since this part involves changes to public interfaces and has already been
determined during the FLIP discussion and design process, we may currently be
more inclined to stick with the original proposal. Of course, if necessary, I
also welcome continuing the discussion in the corresponding FLIP email thread
on whether it is necessary to introduce this change.
