Do we support get closest at or before in hbase2? Its deprecated, no?
We are for sure putting in place the correct comparator, the meta comparator
(it does weird stuff comparing sub-pieces of the row delineated by ',' ).
Otherwise, it could be an actual problem in how encoding is messing up read.
