[~apurtell] I’ve been harassed privately on slack about the balancer module.
That’s why I open this issue to address the concern. And obviously before this
issue it is HBASE-23933, there is a description for the issue, if you truly
want to help, I think you at least should read the related issues and then ask
‘reasonable’ questions? And the word ‘your favorite question’, is obviously a
provocation to me, as I’ve been asked about this many times from only one
person, and through slack I’ve already said to the person please do not do this
to me, I haven’t changed my behavior before or after HBASE-11288, so it is no
clear to me that why now I must write everything down? And to the balancer
related issue, unfortunately as I said above, all my above comments have been
written down before, on jira or PR, that’s why I’m really angry here and do not
think the person showed his respect here.
And on working with each other, it is also easy for me to work with others in
the community. I’ve even been able to work with infra to work out a solution on
how to donate machines, where lots of people said before that infra is really
hard to communicate.
So I do not think the problem is me, I stand my point that, if the person still
harasses me everywhere and carefully chooses words to provoke me, I will send
email to board to seek for help. I will not change this statement, unless I get
a formally apologize from that person.
