One quick question,
Unless the META is updated asking the client to go to the new RS how is the
client trying to do some operation on the region in the new RS?
So is it like the patch is trying to handle the case where the updateToMeta has
happened but still not removed from the RIT on the RS side, which means there
are two steps after meta update
-> Change znode to RS_ZK_OPENED
-> remove from RIT.
If the patch is addressing the following case then how does this affect the end
client? So the operation will fail till the RIT on the RS side is removed.
