[~ram_krish] As I see this issue, it is just about adding the needed methods to
the Cell Interface. I do not think the functionality has to be implemented
underneath the Interface for us to close this issue. This issue is about
making sure the necessary Interfaces changes are in place when 0.96 goes out.
Given the above, is this issue close at all? Want me to do it? I could just
add in the above suggested methods?
