I was thinking more along the lines of doing the non-surprising thing silently
(if the user doesn't want to use namespaces he will never notice anything at
all), and allowing the user to resolve conflicts as necessary while preventing
them from unwittingly shooting himself in the foot; but migration-time options
also work.
