By the way, update, the issue for us about lock was actually a deterministic one: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-25522. (a corrupted HMS instance due to bad startup). So not sure how big of an issue that is anymore (RetryingMetaStoreClient not retrying lock() calls for safety reason). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
