--- Comment #23 from Armin Le Grand <[email protected]> --- Hi Gerhard, no, I do not think you are 'brain damaged' and that a bug happens in one version (or one system) and not on another happens sometimes. I believe that it happens on your version (why else would you write here?). What I try to find out is at which *point* it diverses from what I see here, to conclude back on possible errors in the code. >You write: ‚Changed in my version.‘ Yes, this means in "my version of AOO" which now is "AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1562109" (see about dialog of your AOO) on Win7. Thanks for all the details, I need them in one special place: When you have the dialog open, the "Chart 7" selected and have changed the fields to '100, 100, 0' (before pressing any button), - is the lower preview field changed to reflect that? [ ] yes [ ] no If you then press 'ok' to leave the dialog, the global color will *not* be changed. To change the color, you have to press the 'modify' button. If you then press the 'modify' button, - does the color field update to the new color? [ ] yes [ ] no - does the upper preview field update to the new color? [ ] yes [ ] no - does the selected palette entry in the color palette update to the new color? [ ] yes [ ] no The press on 'modify' should change the color. Even when you exit the dialog with 'cancel' the color will be changed. What changes the color (or should, may be broken on your side) is that press on the 'modify' button. When you have colored text in writer using "Chart 7", go through change "Chart 7" in the global settings and return, the text will not change. The color is applied to the text as an RGB value, not as an attribute. To get it to the new color, re-select it and apply the new color. You may be used to other interaction styles on mac, but remember that AOO is 20 years old in its basic functionality. Maybe your expections are to modern for it...? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
