It would trigger flush more frequently, and we cannot trust this metrics
when operating, it's misleading.
Also the incorrect `usedMemory` isn't introduced by this pr, the cases you
described also existed in current codebase. If fact, this PR reduces the
possibility of incorrect usedMemory.
