Thanks [~wwei] for clarification. I might have got some wrong impression during
internal discussions. It makes sense to have a clear separation of state
queries from metrics. However, states like app list, node list can still be
treated like metrics via taggings of modern metrics system like Prometheus and
Datadog. We will take a deeper look into this topic and gain more insights, and
will share more feedback once we have it.
