AFAIK, it's now more difficult to use JAI related code
in Free/Open Source Software. Unless somebody on the
mailing list works for SUN and can lobby for us to give
us a license that is less strict.

I know, I did similar efforts for developers at other
companies too, but it's very frustrating work because
when company lawyers have made up their mind about
license issues, it's very hard to persuade them that
they should change.
