I expect MAP gets some more traction in the years to come, so it's good to support it, especially if we already have the code. If we are looking at the email feature, I think we already have the technology and the people to solve the proposed use cases. That doesn't exclude of course other ideas, actually we can explore them in more depth, and prototypes are welcome. > > I was rather looking at the use case than to the technology. > The Tizen Watch, proposes to unify all messages services (not only mail) > and I think that is could be a real value. I know unified messaging well from past life, and of course I know its value, but perhaps we need a bit wider scaling technology than what Tizen Watch is using at the moment. Two choices: we either let apps do it as a sum of parts, or we support it integrated from the platform (which may not be to everyone's like). If we choose to support such features in the platform, again, there are proven technologies for that. That again doesn't exclude this idea, but we should not jump on the first match, either. In my experience we can do unified messaging quite well from apps (as sum of parts), unlike telephony for instance (where there are common resources to arbitrate).
