"scart to foo" adaptors just route existing scart signal to new pins. The same adaptor on another scart may not give the same result if the scart is not outputting the same signal in the first place. Scart is a generic form factor with several ways to use the many pins (also some device manufacturers cheat on the scart cables they bundle, wiring only the pins their device uses.
