Now I'm using the one from http://membres.lycos.fr/badzzzz/ and  X
works, but it is very slow. Another problem is the desktop, that is
greater than 720 x 576 as configured in xorg.conf.

Yes it is slow but what are you using it for? The newer versions are faster but need a newer ivtv version than 100zz.

Are you sure the desktop is greater than 720x576. The normal problem is
overscan which means that you cant see all of the 720x576 on the tv. You
loose some lines at the top and bottom and ~50 pixels on each side.

Yes you are right. I guess it is the overscan problem. How can I fix it ?
You mentioned, that the newer versions are faster. Is it recommendable, to use e.g. 0.2.x for my MythBox ? Is only the performance optimized (how much) or do the newer versions have more advantages ?
