Ok. I grabbed a spare hard drive and installed windows on it. I then installed the windows drivers supplied on the Hauppage CD. Using the WINTV2000 application (also on the CD) every channel comes in well.
So, by process of elimination, my problem exists only with the linux software config - NOT with my physical setup (e.g. cable, signal strength etc..). Would you guys agree with that statement? The only difference is that the windows application does AFT (automatic fine tuning). I would be happy to try any patches for v4l or ivtv and work with you guys to get this tuner working.
