I stand corrected. You're right though, and it's coming back to me
now. Heh, it's been years since I really kept up with the hardware
scene. I agree that the bus speed won't help PCI, but overall, it will
help with DMA, specifically to-from the hard drive/ata interface,
since I would assume the newer boards would be faster in those
respects...

That was the plan here too. I just wish it wasn't locking up with dma
deadlocks or whatever the heck is going on on our systems. For the
recording/playback on the PVR-350, it's definitely very low CPU usage
if any. It's the framebuffer / X stuff that screwy.
