I would say overall, video quality in Myth is about
the same as the "old" drivers (0.3.6o+), including
some tearing.  The only thing is that to avoid
artifacts I have to unset "use gui settings for tv
playback", in which case the video gets shifted ot the
right a bit.  (Black bar on left, right hand side
clipped off - which I don't get in pre-0.3.6z.)  In
xine, the change seems to be that I can use scaled OSD
in xine, and xine is centered properly and goes to the
different aspect ratio modes properly (so long as I
use the -G option in xine).

OK, these are teh settings I'm using.  They are the
best overall, though it gives a shift.  I'm using myth
0.18.1-fixes.  (i.e. latest "fixes" from svn.)
