If I set my NVidia card to 720x576 so it matches the 350 resolution, xine
fails to centre correctly and shifts its output to the right. So it would
appear this is not a bug in the driver for the 350 as the NVidia card is also
affected. I'll update xine to the latest CVS and have a look at what it's
doing.

My version of Myth dates from the end of May, so it's newer than the 18.1
release, but far from current.

I don't think this will reveal anything new, but try
mythfontend -v playback

One of the first lines will reveal some size information similar to the
following.

Total desktop width=720, height=576, numscreens=3
2005-07-13 00:58:49.271 Using screen 1, 720x576 at 0,0

Now playback something or watch tv for not much more than a second to avoid
the log becoming too large. When playback started, you should have got output
similar following. You may have to go back a bit as playback will generate a
lot of output.

00:59:05.588 VideoOutputXv()
00:59:05.606 Over/underscan. V: 0, H: 0, XOff: 0, YOff: 0
