I reported something simular last week, and searching with google shows some questions like this being asked before. I had a pvr-500 which was unable to capture at all with my pc. Now that I gave it a pvr-150, it captures most of the time until it suddenly stops and won't start again unless I reboot. I'd gladly buy a new motherboard/cpu combination if I knew which combinations work as good as possible. I understand that there can be random problems when using unstable versions of the driver, but this kind of problem doens't seem driver-related.
