I will try to be as thorough as possible to expediate this. Got a pair

far here is where I am.
I think i have that all setup properly. So after a modprobe

issue the crucial modprobe ivtv and here is the output.

ivtv: version 0.2.0 (rc3j) loading
This is a fairly old release. Could you try again with the latest 0.3.7

As a matter of fact Phil, i was doing just that while waiting for a
response. Here is the update.
Removed ivtv related modules from Mandriva kernel.
Downloaded ivtv.
Compiled ivtv.
Extracted the firmware from CD.
*Grabbed recommended firmware revision online.
*Extracted encoder firmware that was suggested
Symlinked the proper firmware file.
Depmod -a
-modprobe.conf-
Blank, took it all out

Try doing a cold boot - give a good 30 secs or so.
