To be honest, I can't remember seeing your earlier post. It's quite 
hectic and sometimes you have to repeat yourself a few times.

Can you make a screenshot or something of the difference between the two 
tuners?

I understand that you have the Samsung tuner: if so, then also try the 
following: tune to a channel that's fuzzy. Now run ivtvctl -R. You'll 
get a number (it's actually the frequency in MHz times 16). Next 
subtract 20 and run ivtvctl -r <newnumber>. If that doesn't work, add 
20. There has been a suggestion that the Samsung tuners are 1.25MHz 
off, and it would be interesting to see if that might be the case.

I'm still trying to obtain the datasheet of this tuner. In fact, I'll 
make a followup call to Samsung tomorrow.
