to you modprobe.conf or else your modules.d/ivtv file, i can't recall offhand which way fedora does it, and that should get it working. Let me know about the picture quality you get with the tuner tho, as Ive got the same card and am havin some issues, and am tryin to narrow them down to either software or a physical problem with my card

I feel like an idiot!
I am new to Linux in general, and Fedora 5 in particular.
I would like to be able to watch TV on this machine, and ultimately record TV programs for later viewing. I dual boot this with W2K, and have been using an All in Wonder Radeon 9600 for TV purposes over in Windows.
But, as I have found out, ATI TV capture is a bit of a problem in Fedora. So I did some reading and found that WinTV products look like they will work. So I got this WinTV PVR 150, and haven't had much luck getting it going. I can't see any TV in TV Time, or in Xine. And there's this error in the dmesg output about 'Tuner type not set'
I've read around and can't seem to find the answer I need. Can anyone help me to get this thing working? Pleeeease!!
