I see. What applications should I be using then? I've tried xawtv and kdetv, and neither work (I've included error output below). I took a look at the IVTV FAQ and web site in general, but didn't see any specific recommendations for TV applications. My goal is just to be able to see TV channels within a window on my desktop, and occasionally in full screen mode. Is this not possible? Have I wasted my money getting a Hauppauge PVR-150? Is the remote control going to be useless?
