Josh,

I have a PVR 350 and a PVR 500. I was having the same problem and the 
picture on the 500 didn't look so great (Especially on the second 
tuner). Well, I got a signal booster and installed it before my splitter 
and it fixed the problem. I suspect the 500s are more sensative to a 
weak signal than the 350. Are you sure you have a strong signal to the 
capture cards?
