Now I'm even more confused. I posted on alt.os.linux.mandriva, and was 
told to use tvtime since was the easiest way to determine if my card was 
working. What do you mean by "supporting ivtv cards". My card is 
Hauppauge, ivtv is just the driver. Would anyone be willing to walk me 
through this step by step?
