Hello,
i am using ivtv driver with my pvr150 happily for a couple of month now with
different versions of ivtv and kernels from 2.6.15 to 2.20 on my gentoo box.
Recently I did an upgrade to kernel 2.6.22-r1 which according to ivtvdriver.org
and also this discussion group should have the ivtv drivers included. I loaded
what i think is the correct driver (ivtv itself does not seem to exist in
/lib/modules/2.6.22), anyhow i do not get a /dev/video0 device or see something
about ivtv in dmesg

This is my loaded modules list:
Module Size Used by
cx8802 14084 0
cx2341x 10500 0
cx8800 26240 0

tveeprom 13904 1 cx88xx
btcx_risc 4104 3 cx8802,cx8800,cx88xx

hwmon 2692 1 w83627ehf
i2c_isa 3456 1 w83627ehf
eeprom 5712 0
nvidia 6827956 32
i2c_i801 7440 0
Has anybody already some experience in using the new kernel driver? What do i
need to load and is there something i am missing in my kernel configuration (I
would like to use the new 2.6.22 since lm_sensors will support my ASUS P5B
mainboard which does not work with 2.6.20 which is now my working setup for
ivtv)?
Regards,
Jan
