There is an entry
in /usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.6.21/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner:

tuner=71 - Xceive xc3028

I thought this means, the tuner is supported in linux. I am wrong with
that?

The card is detected as: Yuan PG600, Diamond PVR-550 and not as: Yuan
PG600-2/GotView PCI DVD Lite/Club3D ZAP-TV1x01!

Correct, i already tested this.

I can not test this suggestion, because i dont have a Television set.
