Correct, there is no support for this tuner in the kernel. Work is being
done to make a user-space driver for this tuner available and it's on
my list to see if I can use that in ivtv. This tuner has been the
victim of a rather vicious fight between several v4l-dvb developers. It
really should have been in the kernel at least a year ago, but
everything that can go wrong did go wrong :-(

Detection of cards based on PCI IDs can be rather hit-and-miss. Many
board derived from Yuan-based designs still have a Yuan vendor ID, even
though it is really a different vendor. And the device ID is
sometimes 'unstable' (i.e. a different value after each reboot) or
insufficiently unique.

This should work.
