I've attached two patches: ivtv-0.10.diff is against ivtv-0.10 and ivtv.diff is against the http://www.linuxtv.org/hg/~hverkuil/v4l-dvb repository (for kernels >= 2.6.22).
Hi Hans, Unfortunately, no, it still crashes when SMP and is fine with nosmp.I'm running 2.6.20, and I'm not sure what you mean by "ivtv-0.10.diff is against ivtv-0.10" - I tried applying the patch against
http://ivtvdriver.org/svn/ivtv/branches/0.10 and http://ivtvdriver.org/svn/ivtv/tags/0.10.0/ ... http://ivtvdriver.org/svn/ivtv/tags/0.10.5/There were rejects for ivtv-streams.c when applying the patch for branches/0.10 and tags/0.10.5 and tags/0.10.4, so I applied the patch against tags/0.10.3, which was the newest tag that it applied cleanly against (there were line-number diffs, though).
I haven't found a version of ivtv that the ivtv-0.10.diff applies completely cleanly against without rejects or line number diffs. The reject file from applying against branches/0.10 is attached. Let me know, and I'll try again against the correct source, if you like.
