Hi,

Just put together a new pvr machine.

Problems have cropped up.

Hardware
Asus a8n-vm csm motherboardPvr-350 connected to my television via
composite

Software
Kernel 2.6.24-gentoo-r7
Linux-headers sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.24
v4l-dvb-9d04bba82511 downloaded on May 18th
        Make uninstall
        Make
        Make install

When ivtv loades the television screen turns green

I then try to change the input to so I can see the output of my STB
By issuing "v4l2-ctl --set-input 1"
Result is a Segmentation fault and the screen goes black.

Lots of debug files attached.

In case it is matters gentoo would normally install
sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.23-r3 with this kernel but I
Forced it by adding
=sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.24
to
/etc/portage/package.keywords

I see the following line during ivtv init
msp3400 0-0040: chip reset failed

Here is the oops
