Hi!

So, I have a PVR 500 that used to work wonderfully, but now constantly
produces DMA timeouts. I'm running Debian Etch with the latest stock
2.6.18 kernel, and ivtv 0.10.6 compiled from source. I use mythtv 0.21.

Lately, (past several months... hard to determine exactly when) nearly
every recording produces 0 byte files, and syslog is full of these
messages:

Jun 11 08:58:32 jumbo kernel: ivtv1: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0
Jun 11 08:58:36 jumbo kernel: ivtv0: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0
Jun 11 08:58:37 jumbo kernel: ivtv1: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0
Jun 11 08:58:41 jumbo kernel: ivtv0: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0
Jun 11 08:58:42 jumbo kernel: ivtv1: DMA TIMEOUT 00000001 0

I've tried cold-booting, I've tried changing the PCI latency (currently at
32). I've verified I have the latest firmware. (All suggestions from
searches through mailing lists)

Simply doing this:
   cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
produces a 0 byte file and causes the log messages, so mythtv is not
likely to be responsible.

Here are my startup messages:
